| Description | This blank postcard, entitled "Catholic Church and Presbytery, Dufftown, Centenary 1825-1925", was obviously produced in 1925 to mark the centenary of Our Lady of the Assumption Church; the photograph on the front shows a large and imposing church, with steps leading up to it and a low wall separating it from the street; Our Lady of the Assumption Church was originally built in 1728 then rebuilt in 1825; as at 2009, the Church has an estimated Catholic population of 150. |
