| Description | This is a formal head and shoulders portrait of Mgr McRoberts, taken in profile, with Mgr McRoberts wearing clerical collar. Mgr McRoberts was Keeper of the Scottish Catholic Archives from 1973. He was also Editor of the Scottish Catholic Directory from 1950 to 1974. He was born in Wishaw on 13th June 1912 and ordained in Rome on 18th December 1937; he died in Edinburgh on 25th November 1978, aged 66.
