Description	This photograph shows a smiling Mgr Butti in formal pose, seated in an ornate high-backed studded chair; Mgr Butti was born in Edinburgh on 21st February 1847; he was ordained priest on 12th April 1873 and died at Blairs College in the 60th year of his priesthood on 25th November 1932, aged 85; further details of Mgr Butti's life can be found on pp 346 to 348 of The Catholic Directory for 1933
