Description
This postcard shows the interior of St Columba's Church in Banchory; the altar is filled with clergy who appear to be celebrating Mass but the pews are empty [possibly the photograph was taken on the occasion of the church being sanctified in 1931]; St Columba's Church in Banchory was built in 1931 and improved or updated in 1964; the current Catholic population as at 2009 is 400.
