Description	Hogarth's request as to whether Ushaw has any promising boys for the Hexham diocese, his lack of success in Briggs's relinquishing Cornsay to the college, and believing it to be scandalous that Briggs is trying to transfer three-quarters of the benefit to other dioceses, and Briggs, Newsham and Tate as the only surviving joint tenants named by Lingard.
