DescriptionThe Third Eye Centre's documentary exhibition focused on the life, martyrdom and Canonisation of St John Ogilvie. Images include: view of Glasgow from the Fir Park about the year 1690, Glasgow Cathedral Palace of the Archbishop of St Andrew's, Huntley House, Old Tolbooth Prison in Edinburgh, Cardinal Beaton's House, map of Drum-Na-Keith and neighbourhood, John Speed's map of Scotland with John Adair's map of Straithern on reverse, plan of Glasgow c1570, copies of contemporary documents on mounts, photocopy page from the Register of the Privy Council, series of photographs of people in 17th century dress possibly a reenactment, postcards from the Beatification of John Ogilvie, group of Scottish pilgrims at the Beatification in Rome, copies of envelopes addressed to John Fagan in Glasgow, photograph with Mr and Mrs Fagan, cartoons of Margaret Clithero, James Bird, Ann Line, James Fenn, William Viscount Stafford and Robert Johnson, and portraits of John Spottiswoode, Archbishop of St Andrew's, John Ogilvie, Claudio Aquaviva, St Ignatius, Pope Paul VI, Edmund Campion, Rev John Fitzgibbon PP, MGR Clapperton and Archbishop Mackintosh. Some of the images in these folders have been used in the accompanying book which can be found in the library.
