DescriptionThis collection largely cinsists of engagement diaries, spiritual notes, and letters.
Admin_HistoryFr Francis Roberts was born in 1910 and attended Preston Catholic College. Between 1936 and 1939 he worked at St George's College, Salisbury, Rhodesia. He also spent time as Prefect of Discipline at Stonyhurst. In 1954 he became Rector and Parish Priest at St Wilfrid's, Preston. He then was the Master of Novices at Manresa (1958-1962), Harlaxton (1962-1964) and Juniper Green (1964-1966). He then moved to Lauriston, Edinburgh before retiring to Wrexham, where he died.
