  <dc:title>Press and Publications</dc:title>
<dc:description>Pamphlets, articles and letters to the press regarding Catholicism and the Sword of the Spirit. The file contains correspondence with editors of various journals, such as the Picture Post, leading lay and religious Catholics and non-Catholics, and letters from readers responding to published articles. There are indications that Freda Beales was attempting to list and organise this file and others within the collection, as there are several notes written by her, including one dated 1978 confirming that the original letter to the Times signed by the Archbishops of Canterbury and Westminster had been initiated by Miss Edith Ellis, a politically well-connected Quaker.</dc:description>
