  <dc:description>From its earliest days, the Seminary maintained a museum of artefacts of Catholic historical interest, including metalwork and textiles.  A significant set of important artefacts originating from the estate of the noted antiquarian and scholar of church history, Canon Daniel Rock (1799 - 1871) formed the core the collection. (see SJW/MUS/1).

Note: Many artefacts from the Seminary's Museum were removed to Stonyhurst Museum on long term loan in 2022.  Any enquiries should be directed to the Museum Curator. </dc:description>
