  <dc:description>In 1865, the Marist Fathers at St. Anne's established the Notre Dame de France Church in the building previously named the Panorama on Leicester Square. The following year, a school and an orphanage were established there. In 1890, the school was moved to nearby Lisle Street. Some material relates to the evacuation of pupils to Little Somerford, a village north of Chippenham, at the start of the Second World War.
