Haydock Family Papers Papers of the Haydock family, including title deeds relating to the sale of land and property of their Lancashire estate, receipts, probate material, and other financial and legal papers, as well as letters from George Haydock and other members of the Haydock family, mostly on the management of their estates and other financial and legal matters, but also including material on the development of the Whitby mission, the Catholic community in North East Yorkshire during the early 19th century, the 1832 cholera epidemic and the 1832 general election. There are also two files of Bernard Williams's research on the Haydock and Lancashire Catholic families. 1670 - 1973
