Fr Thomas Angier was born 10 December 1754, Norwich, England. He entered the English Province of the Society of Jesus in 1772 at Watten, and re-entered the restored Society in 1803. He was ordained priest at Liege 8 March 1780. He then served the Oxburgh mission, in the College of the Holy Apostles, for five years, and afterwards that of Bury St. Edmund’s for thirty-one years. In 1826 he was sent to Newhall, Essex, where he died 18 January 1837.
